Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change in Canton, NC seeks an experienced Shop Manager to lead the service center, coach the team, and drive performance across oil changes, sales, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee daily operations, recruit and train staff, ensure safety and cleanliness, manage inventory and cash handling, and partner with the Area Manager to set goals.

This is a working leadership role with about 50 hours per week and weekly pay, plus monthly bonus

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Background check completed successfully.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Willingness to work ~50 hours per week.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn company systems.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly schedules and manage labor to support operational needs.
• Partner with Area Manager to review performance and set shop goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct counts.
• Manage cash handling procedures including daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.

At Strickland Brothers, our Shop Managers operate as the leaders of the service center. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day shop operations, develop and coach your team, and drive performance across key business metrics including oil change count, sales, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Shop Managers are responsible for creating a positive, high-performing work environment while ensuring every service is delivered according to the Strickland Brothers Way. This role combines team leadership, operational execution, and business management to deliver fast, friendly, and reliable service to our customers.

At Strickland Brothers, our Shop Managers are working leaders who actively support service operations alongside their team when needed, including assisting in roles such as greeter, hood technician, or pit technician.

This position is paid weekly on an hourly basis, with schedules typically based on a 50-hour workweek. The pay range shown represents estimated gross earning potential when annualized and includes projected monthly bonus opportunities based on shop performance. High-performing Shop Managers have opportunities to grow into Certified Training Manager and Area Manager roles.
