Job summary

Pacific Supply is seeking a Sawyer to operate production saws and trim lumber to precise specifications in a safe, efficient manner. You will also prepare and package lumber, count materials, and support customer needs on the floor.

Qualified candidates have forklift experience, basic math and reading skills, and a high school diploma or GED. A strong benefits package is included among competitive compensation.

Compensation Data

$18.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for operating a variety of saws to cut lumber to specifications in a safe and efficient manner. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Operates production saws to cut lumber to specifications utilizing the Optimizer program.
• Packages lumber and materials according to specifications.
• Counts and reconciles incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assists all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.

Job Requirements

• Forklift experience required.
• Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One year experience of sawing lumber to specifications preferred.
