Job summary

Canfor’s El Dorado sawmill in Arkansas is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join a hands-on, safety-conscious team. You will operate industrial machinery, rotate through duties, and help meet daily production goals on the 2nd shift, Monday–Friday.

This is a permanent full-time position with opportunities for skill development and advancement. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a loud environment, and collaborate with teammates to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in manufacturing/industrial settings is a plus.
• Experience with operating industrial machinery or lumber production is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production line and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through various tasks within your workspace on an hourly basis.
• Safely operate industrial machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Maintain quality throughout the production process.
• Inspect machinery and report wear or malfunctions for preventive action.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
