Job summary

Cedar Point's Sawmill Creek location is hiring a Banquet Server. You will greet guests, assist in setup, and deliver exceptional service across events at our world-class food locations.

This hourly role includes paid training, uniforms, and access to Cedar Point benefits, with opportunities to interact with guests and develop hospitality skills. Ideal candidates are available on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays, with a friendly, safety-conscious approach and a passion for delivering

• Support the needs of guests and associates with friendly, attentive service.
• Demonstrate good judgement and a commitment to safety in all tasks.
• Able to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests to Sawmill Creek’s banquet events.
• Assist in setting up rooms and tables per BEOs and standards.
• Contribute to the service team to complete key banquet server responsibilities.
• Maintain an outgoing, friendly disposition while interacting with guests.
• Provide guest service in line with Cedar Point standards and brand.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas and dining spaces.
• Create memorable experiences and assist guests in making memories.

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Sawmill Creek Standards.
• Assist in setting up room and tables.
• Act as a contributing member of the service team to complete all key responsibilities of a banquet server.
• Maintain an outgoing, friendly disposition while interacting with our guests.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Point standards.
• Maintain cleanliness.
• Make our guests happy by delivering amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories.
• Interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds.
