The role emphasizes teamwork, physical tasks like lifting lumber, sweeping floors, shoveling debris, and operating simple equipment such as a wheelbarrow, circular saw, or chainsaw under supervision. On-site attendance is essential and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Ability to follow safety rules and report hazards.
• Pre-employment criminal history check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report hazards.
• Sweep and shovel debris, wood pieces, and sawdust.
• Lift, pull, and push lumber.
• Operate a full wheelbarrow to clean and haul waste materials.
• Use air to blow the floor and equipment.
• Maintain waste systems by clearing clogs.
• Use hand and power tools such as a circular saw and/or chainsaw.
• Learn to operate the steer-skid loader, tractor, and chipper.
• Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
• On-site attendance is essential.
