Job summary

Reliance, Inc. in Tampa, FL, is seeking a team member to perform materials processing operations on inventory according to work orders or supervisor directions. You will support saw processing, material cutting, and inventory handling in a busy warehouse setting.

• Log inventory movements according to procedures.
• Record inventory data on work orders as required.
• Handle special projects as assigned by management.
• Assist with other warehouse or processing tasks as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform processing operations on saw.
• Cut material according to work orders and by supervisor directions.
• Communicate/coordinate with supervisors and other employees on jobs/procedures.
• Understanding and proficiencies of measurements and processing software.
• Must perform inspections/replacements, inspections of fluid levels, and all other safety measures for processing equipment, to inc. emergency stop process.
• Load/unload and otherwise move inventory as required.
• Log all inventory location movement according to specified procedures.
• Record inventory information on to work orders as required.
• Special projects as specified by management.
• Performance of other Warehouse or Processing / Maintenance Department tasks as required by the absence of a department member or due to the existence of a backlog of work.
• Promote and practice all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety.

Required Skills

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Preferably 1-year processing and/or warehouse experience.
  • Experience in an industrial setting preferred.
