PeopleReady is seeking a Saw Operator to work on outdoor forestry projects. You will operate saw equipment to cut trees, limbs and brush according to project requirements while following safety standards.

You will inspect and maintain chainsaws and tools, perform routine checks and basic maintenance to keep gear in safe working condition. The role requires evaluating work areas for hazards, selecting safe cutting techniques, and adhering to PPE guidelines.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with saw operation in forestry, landscaping, or similar field.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE.
• Physical fitness to perform outdoor work and lift materials.
• Background check and drug test required.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $16.50 - $16.50 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Saw Operator:

• Operate saw Equipment Safely : Cut trees, limbs, and brush according to project requirements while adhering to safety standards and procedures
• Inspect and Maintain Equipment :Perform routine checks, sharpening, and basic maintenance to ensure chainsaws and tools are in safe working condition
• Assess Work Areas and Hazards : Evaluate tree conditions, terrain, and surrounding structures to determine safe cutting techniques and prevent accidents

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Experience with saw Operation :Prior hands-on experience in forestry, landscaping, or similar field using chainsaws and cutting equipment
• Knowledge of Safety Procedures : Understanding of occupational safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Physical Fitness and Stamina : Ability to perform strenuous outdoor work, lift heavy materials, and work in various weather conditions
• Background check and Drug test required
