48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Northampton, PA to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood used in pallets.

You will work 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with hourly pay of $17.00, and be part of a team dedicated to safety and quality in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Previous lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with management and team.
• Overtime availability as needed.

Overview

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
