Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Dallas to set up and operate power saws for cutting and trimming wood pallets. You’ll be essential to our pallet manufacturing process and must be able to follow safety rules while maintaining quality.

The role offers hourly pay of $17.00 per hour with 1st shift Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm, on-site in Dallas, TX. Benefits include paid time off, health coverage for eligible employees, and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing experience highly preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Saw Shop Operator

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$17.00/hr

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed
