Job summary

Boston Public Schools seeks a Paraprofessional for the Compensatory Services Saturday Program (SY26-27). This stipend opportunity involves assisting teachers with compensatory services, supporting instruction, and helping prepare materials for students with IEPs.

The role reports to the Deputy Director of Programs. Candidates must have at least two years of experience with young children, be authorized to work in the United States by day one, and hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or

Qualifications

Minimum of two years experience working with young children.
Current authorization to work in the United States by first day of employment

Responsibilities

Supports direct instruction to children individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings
Provides assistance with classroom activities.
Prepares instructional materials.
Assists in classroom set up and clean up.
Manages individual and classroom behavior, using prescribed approaches.
Supervises students on field trip activities.
Performs other related duties as requested by the Compensatory Services Team/OSS department designee.
Minimum of two years experience working with young children.
Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment
