Job summary

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity. You will design, build and support data pipelines for RF links and apply geospatial analysis to terabytes of IQ data from global ground sites.

Join a team that develops automated test cases, link budgets, and DTD integration, working with engineers to validate RF links in lab environments and integrate weather and terrain data into models.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture of new or existing systems.
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • 1+ years of OO design experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support remote sensor data collection pipelines from space-based RF links for geospatial analysis.
  • Implement best practices for storing, searching, and analyzing terabytes of IQ data streams from multiple ground sites.
  • Implement life-cycle management strategies for large RF domain data sets.
  • Apply geospatial analysis techniques to identify patterns and issues for RF links in space.
  • Apply AI/ML techniques for detecting RF and PHY performance anomalies from satellites on orbit.
