Systems Technology Forum LTD (STF) seeks a junior to mid-level Systems Engineer to support design, integration, and test of protected SATCOM terminals for AEHF/EHF. The role spans hardware, software, RF, and mechanical domains, interfacing with government customers. Telework is supported, but travel is required.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of defense/SATCOM systems engineering experience, a engineering degree, and familiarity with SE processes and DoD frameworks.

Formación

• Must have 5–7 years of systems engineering experience on defense or SATCOM programs.
• Knowledge of EHF/SHF SATCOM fundamentals; requirements analysis; design reviews; mobile military platform integration; interface definition; system integration; test execution; DoD SE framework and tools.

Responsabilidades

• Break down government requirements into hardware, software, and antenna subsystem requirements.
• Coordinate work across RF, digital, mechanical, and software teams; act as technical contact with customers and subcontractors.
• Develop and review: Requirements documents, ICDs, compliance matrices, test procedures and reports.
• Support analysis of EHF waveform performance; assist with TRANSEC/cryptographic integration; ensure protected communications compliance.
• Address integration constraints for antenna placement, RF routing, EMI/EMC compatibility.
• Support system-level integration and test; investigate anomalies and track corrective actions.
• Evaluate subcontractor deliverables for gaps or risks; track risks and IMS inputs; prepare status reports.
