Job summary

Astranis in Northern California is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern for Winter 2027 to support developing manufacturing processes and quality systems of the Astranis supply chain.

You will design quality inspections, improve processes, work with suppliers, and address quality issues redefining the Space industry. If you have graduated, apply as Associate Engineer.

Internships are twelve weeks, hourly roles, and geared toward students currently enrolled at a four-year university.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking across projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive FMEA and root-cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Design quality requirements and specifications.
• Outline inspection and testing plans; define re-processing and repair methods.
• Monitor suppliers' performance and parts status; report to management.
• Support manufacturing process development at supplier sites.
