A leading aerospace firm has an immediate opening for a Satellite Integration & Test Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in satellite systems engineering and test. Responsibilities include oversight of contractor activities, resolving technical issues, and facilitating communication with government customer leads. A strong background in spacecraft engineering, along with leadership and communication skills, are essential. The target salary range is between $160,001 and $200,000, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Masters and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 5 or more years of Spacecraft systems engineering experience with integration and test experience.
• Experience working in satellite development and I&T.

Responsabilités

• Work in an interactive team environment with customer leads and spacecraft developers.
• Facilitate communication between the customer program office and contractor team.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in program team.
• Review and assess satellite assembly and test plans.
• Perform requirements flow down assessment on satellite test plans.
