Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is looking for a Communications and Signal Processing Engineer for the Mission Payloads Division in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will analyze, model, and simulate radio systems, providing support to national defense and civil clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and preferably some industry experience. The position offers a collaborative team environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, pursuing or conferring within 12 months.
• 0-1 year of industry experience.
• Coursework in digital communications and signal processing using MATLAB/Python.
• Solid understanding of radio satellite systems communications modeling and simulation.
• Working knowledge of digital filters, modulation schemes, and coding.

• Perform analysis and simulation of radio systems and signal processing techniques.
• Support advanced development and integration of radio communication systems.
• Engage with customers and conduct presentations at program review meetings.
