Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking personnel for Satellite Communication Systems Operator-Maintainer roles. You will install, operate, and maintain multi-channel satellite communications to ensure reliable lines of communication for missions.

Duties include transmitting and logging messages, decoding classified info, and supporting field and classroom training to develop technical skills and teamwork under demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Must meet military enlistment requirements and be able to pass a physical exam.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; candidate may be a junior in high school.
• Interest in communications equipment and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Transmit, receive, and log messages according to procedures.
• Install, maintain, and operate communications equipment.
• Monitor and respond to emergency calls and report activities.
