C2 Education is seeking a part-time instructor to provide after-school tutoring and test-prep services in Centereach, NY. You will deliver lessons aligned with our curriculum, assess progress, and maintain records while collaborating with staff to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Score at the 95th percentile on diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
• Experience using educational technology and software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and any concerns.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

In addition, we offer tutoring for K-12 and AP/Summer Boot Camps.Job Purpose:To provide high-quality, part-time instruction to students, following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy.
