Job summary

C2 Education seeks a part-time instructor to provide high-quality, after-school tutoring aligned with our curriculum and philosophy. Sessions run Mon–Thu after school and Saturdays, with a focus on fostering a positive learning environment and student growth.

You will assess progress, maintain records, and collaborate with staff while supporting diverse learners. The role requires at least two years of teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher, with strong communication and classroom

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Experience developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Experience using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
• Demonstrated commitment to student success.
• Score at the 95th percentile on diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Adhere to policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned, relevant to the position and the students.
• Schedule: sessions after school hours, Monday–Thursday 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
