Job summary

Centurion Health in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients at the Mark Luttrell Transition Center.

The RN must hold a Tennessee license (or obtain one), current CPR, and be able to obtain a security clearance. Shift is Saturdays 1:30 pm – 10 pm; compensation is $40–$50 per hour, depending on experience. The role reports to the Nursing Supervisor and works with a multidisciplinary team in a secure, structured setting.

Qualifications

• Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain license.
• Current CPR.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor.
