CCACC Academy in Rockville, MD, seeks an experienced SAT educator to raise student performance in Reading, Writing, and Language through data-driven lessons. You will design rigorous plans and lead after-school sessions in the evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of teaching English with 5 years focused on SAT/ACT Reading & Writing, a track record of 150–250 point SAT gains, and strong communication with students and parents. Flexible, student-centered environment offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in English, Education, Linguistics or related field.
• 7+ years teaching English with 5+ years SAT/ACT Reading & Writing focus.
• Proven SAT score improvements (150–250 points).
• Strong understanding of SAT test design and college readiness standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; classroom management; differentiation.

Responsibilities

• Teach SAT English and/or Math with emphasis on grammar, reading, and algebra.
• Deliver intensive SAT Reading & Writing/Math instruction for high school students.
• Create rigorous, data-driven lesson plans and practice materials.
• Provide targeted instruction on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing.
• Track, assess, and document measurable student progress; adjust instruction with mock exams.
