Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking experienced Security Engineers to join our remote team in the United States. You will own the security technologies lifecycle from pre-sales to delivery, focusing on SASE, firewall deployment and network security engineering for enterprise clients.

You will work autonomously, lead customer conversations, develop runbooks and diagrams, and help implement cutting-edge security solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP environments. Eastern time zone candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of network security engineering in enterprise environments.
• Experience in a consultative or professional services role preferred.
• Experience deploying Zscaler, Netskope or Palo Alto in enterprise environments.
• Zscaler or Netskope certifications preferred.
• Hands-on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortigate, Check Point, Cisco ASA-Firepower.
• Experience deploying firewall technologies in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• SD-WAN experience with HP-Silver Peak, Prisma-CloudGenix, Viptela and SASE integration is a plus.
• Broad experience with foundational network and security concepts.
• Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation.
• Ability to confidently lead projects and be the trusted network security voice in customer conversations.

• 3 to 5 years of Network Security Engineering experience in enterprise environments
• Experience in a consultative or professional services role preferred
• Experience working with deploying and integrating ZScaler, Netskope or Palo Alto solutions in enterprise environments
• Zscaler, Netskope, or similar SASE tool certifications preferred
• Hands on firewall experience with Palo Alto, Fortigate, CheckPoint, Cisco ASA-Firepower
• Experience deploying firewall technologies in one of the three major public clouds; AWS, Azure or GCP
• SD-WAN experience deploying technologies such as HP-Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma-Cloudgenix, Cisco-Viptela including full SASE integration is a plus
• Broad experience with foundational network and security concepts
• Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation
• Ability to confidently lead projects and be the trusted network security voice in customer conversations
