Job summary

The Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center (CSCC) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a SAS programmer with at least one year of professional experience to support statistical analysis and data management for NIH-funded studies.

You will develop, optimize, and maintain SAS programs, using DATA steps and macros, while communicating with a multidisciplinary team and adhering to project guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional work experience in SAS programming for statistical applications.
• Excellent SAS DATA step and SAS macro facility programming skills with demonstrated ability to develop, understand, and maintain complex programs to fulfill clinical study data management and reporting needs
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with general guidelines as well as in a collaborative team environment under strict development requirements and guidelines.
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and attention to detail for study goals.

Responsibilities

• Support study design, data management, statistical analysis, quality assurance for multi-center trials.
• Develop and maintain SAS programs for data management and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to NIH-funded project guidelines.
