Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a SAS Grid Administrator in New York for a 6-12+ month contract to manage SAS Grid 9.4 administration, config, monitoring and DR planning.

You will ensure platform health, manage backups, and support SAS tools including SAS Studio, Enterprise Guide and Foundation/Base SAS. The role requires hands-on administration, troubleshooting, and applying patches and maintenance releases in coordination with internal teams.

Qualifications

• SAS GRID 9.4 System Administration, configuration, monitoring and Disaster recovery management.
• Maintain health of the SAS Grid platform using shared file systems.
• Install and maintain SAS tools: Foundation/Base SAS/SAS Studio/Office Analytics/Enterprise Guide.
• Design solutions to reduce operational complexity of the platform.
• Monitor, log, troubleshoot SAS servers and processes; resolve errors.
• Execute backups as per strategy; housekeeping.
• Install SAS client tools and maintain SAS Metadata security.
• Apply maintenance releases, upgrades, and hotfixes with vendor coordination.
• Provide guidance to SAS developers on operations.
• Deploy patches and fixes approved by customer.
• Serve as escalation point for production/platform issues.
