Job Description:

We are seeking a Quantitative Analytics Specialist with a strong foundation in SAS programming and statistical analysis to support our analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with advanced SAS coding and SQL, as well as unit testing and code review, particularly in a financial or data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS code for analytical modeling and reporting tasks.
Conduct unit testing and perform code reviews to ensure accuracy and reliability of statistical code.
Work with large data sets to extract insights, identify patterns, and support business decision-making.
Use SQL in conjunction with SAS to manipulate and query relational databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, business analysts, and IT to deliver actionable insights and data solutions.
Ensure that analytical processes follow best practices, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience: MUST HAVE

5+ years of experience in unit testing and code review in SAS.
Strong hands-on experience with Advanced SAS, including SAS Macros and data manipulation.
Proficiency in SAS/SQL coding.
Solid understanding of data structures, statistical methods, and relational databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a financial services or regulated industry.
Background in quantitative analytics or data science.
Knowledge of other analytical tools or programming languages (e.g., R, Python) is a plus.

Education:
