Job summary

The University of Virginia, Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, seeks candidates for a tenure-eligible or tenure-ineligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level with a subspecialty focus on sarcoma. Clinical track and tenure status depend on qualifications.

The successful candidate will participate in inpatient and outpatient care, engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and pursue clinical research within the Cancer Center while teaching

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and board-certified in Internal Medicine by start date.
• Board-eligibility or Board-certification in Medical Oncology is required.
• Evidence of expertise in care of patients with sarcoma.

Responsibilities

• Attend inpatient and outpatient services and participate in multidisciplinary team care.
• Contribute to clinical research within the Cancer Center.
• Teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
