Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Sarcoma Oncologist to join the Division of Medical Oncology in Internal Medicine. The role involves direct and indirect patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings, ambulatory clinics, and teaching of residents, fellows and students.

Ideal candidates will have MD/DO with Oncology/Hematology fellowship training, board certification in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and active DEA registration with Ohio licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree required and board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
  • Completion of accredited Oncology/Hematology Fellowship.
  • Active DEA registration required; Ohio licensure or eligibility.
  • Candidates should demonstrate commitment to patient care, teaching and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and provides patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings; conducts ambulatory clinics.
  • Educates residents, fellows, medical students and allied staff in oncology.
  • Participates in quality assessment/improvement and service committees.
  • Engages in research, education and patient care leadership within Sarcoma Oncology.
