We look forward to learning more about how, together, we can Transform the Perception of Age!Pay Rate: $38.00-$46.00 DOEOur Licensed Practical Nurses:Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to our residents.Work with a team of professionals to ensure the residents comprehensive needs are met.Review routines, calendar of events and resident needsEnsure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock and countedEnsure all charting and record keeping is accurate and completeAttend meetings, trainingsGive a thorough report to oncoming shift.Updates 24 hour report.Calendars appropriately for upcoming needs.Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age, our Culture of Excellence, in all areas of responsibility.Performs other duties as assigned.What you need to succeed!Must be at least 18 years of age.Cleared Criminal Record clearance through the Department of Social Services prior to presence in the community.Health screening and TB test results not older than 6 months.Current First Aid Training and Certifications, per Title 22 guidelines.A current nursing license issued by the State of California is required.Minimum of six months in long term care, home care or related field.Demonstrated competence in technical and manual skills according to the scope of practice for RN's/LVN's.Working knowledge of computers and typing, sufficient enough to be successful with computerized Point of Care and other systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of aging process and implications of aging in a social setting.Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, peers and employees in a multi-cultural environment.Completion of a background check, drug screen, physical, fingerprint, and TB test may be required per state and local guidelines (Title 22).Physical Requirements:On occasion, may need to push/pull/support up to 75lbs.
