BTS Software Solutions seeks a Maven Exploitation Specialist/Imagery Scientist (SAR Focused) Expert to support DoD IC missions in Springfield, VA. The role demands deep SAR expertise, sensor integration, and data pipeline development to deliver high-quality imagery and labeled data for advanced analysis.

Responsibilities include algorithm development, data standardization, and coordinating imagery acquisitions. Clearances and future poly must be considered as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a SAR expert with phenomenology and exploitation product knowledge.
• Experience with SARPy and MATLAB SAR toolbox.
• Knowledge of RNIIRS and SAR image quality metrics.
• Ability to exploit SAR data to locate objects of interest.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Integrate emerging sensors into Maven/Gov data pipelines and develop data structures.
• Assess differences between new sensors and current platforms.
• Standardize data formats and metadata for labeling and model development.
• Determine data acquisition methods and latency implications.
• Tile and pre-process full-size imagery while preserving metadata.
• Create pre-labels and convert between file types per NGA Maven strategies.
• Provide EO imagery coincident with SAR within geographic/temporal ranges.
• Oversee weekly deliveries of processed imagery and ad-hoc ops support.
