Job summary

KamisPro is seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to support the configuration and enhancement of a SaaS-based insurance platform. The role requires hands-on Sapiens PolicyPro experience and a solid understanding of Property & Casualty insurance systems.

The position operates on a hybrid schedule with on-site Tue–Thu and remote Mon & Fri, a 36-hour workweek, and every other Friday off as part of a 9-day cycle, offering a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional configuration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of P&C insurance industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with P&C insurance products, processes, and systems.
• Strong SQL and relational database experience (SQL Server/Oracle).
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Analyze configuration requirements and determine appropriate system solutions.
• Estimate, plan, and execute configuration work meeting project/sprint deadlines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and system issues.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and sprint planning.
• Coordinate with QA for testing and validation; support deployment of changes.

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Configuration Analyst to join its technology team and support the configuration and enhancement of a SaaS-based insurance platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with hands-on Sapiens PolicyPro experience and a strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective, scalable system solutions.

Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is a key qualification for this position.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Hybrid schedule: On-site Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (standard hours 8AM-4:30PM, but flexible start/stop for commutes days)
• Remote: Monday and Friday
• 36-hour average workweek
• Every other Friday off as part of a 9-day biweekly work schedule

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Configure and enhance Sapiens PolicyPro and related SaaS applications to meet business requirements
• Work with business analysts, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective solutions
• Analyze configuration requirements and determine appropriate system solutions
• Estimate, plan, and execute configuration work while meeting project and sprint deadlines
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and system issues
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, sprint planning, and other Agile development activities
• Partner with QA teams to develop and execute thorough testing and validation
• Coordinate with release management to ensure successful deployment of configuration changes into production
• Document configuration changes, technical solutions, and system functionality
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Manage multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other related responsibilities as needed

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 4+ years of professional configuration experience
• Hands-on experience with Sapiens PolicyPro is highly preferred
• 3+ years of Property & Casualty insurance industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working with P&C insurance products, processes, and systems
• Experience working with insurance compliance data, including ISO, is a plus
• Strong understanding of software and computer science concepts, including conditional logic, algorithms, data structures, and complex troubleshooting
• Experience with software development or programming is preferred
• Strong SQL and relational database experience, including SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base Salary: $80,000-$96,000, depending on experience and qualifications
• Annual bonus opportunity
• 36-hour average workweek
• Every other Friday off
