Job summary

Brady Worldwide Inc. in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an SAP Analyst to design, develop, and maintain SAP Variant Configuration solutions for multi-option products.

You will configure product models, classes, characteristics, dependencies, and custom logic, while testing thoroughly and documenting processes. You will train end-users, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help establish standard practices in product modeling, pricing, and promotions to simplify configurations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working with SAP Variant Configuration.
• Extensive product/process knowledge is required.
• Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Variant Configuration solutions to meet business needs.
• Implement and configure product models, classes, characteristics, and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain configuration profiles, selection conditions, and variant tables.
• Develop and implement custom logic to handle complex configuration scenarios.
• Conduct thorough testing of configuration solutions to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Document VC configuration, custom code, and development processes.
• Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on VC functionality.
• Establish standard practices for product modeling, configuration rules, pricing, promotions, etc. in coordination with product management.
• Drive simplification to minimize product model complexity.
