Job summary

First Quality Enterprises, LLC is seeking an SAP Transportation Management Solution Engineer to join our remote team in the United States. The successful candidate will own SAP TM configuration, end-to-end transportation processes, and integration with ECC and S/4HANA, while mentoring consultants and delivering multi-project implementations.

Responsibilities include data mapping, testing, and documenting TM configurations, with hands-on experience in ABAP RAP, OData services, and Fiori/UI5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of post-baccalaureate experience in SAP TM.
• Proven experience implementing and supporting SAP TM modules (5+ years).
• Experience delivering two full SAP TM end-to-end implementations.

Responsibilities

• Map and transform data between SAP TM and other enterprise systems.
• Configure SAP TM end-to-end transportation processes and related procedures.
• Troubleshoot SAP TM issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Document SAP TM configurations, profiles, batch jobs, and maintain docs.
• Keep SAP TM environments across ECC and S/4HANA synchronized over time.
• Lead testing for transportation planning and management scenarios and ensure test scripts cover scenarios.
• Lead low-level design, testing, and implementation phases with business teams.
• Analyze transportation data and develop IT solutions with IT and user teams.
• Review TM customizations and replace with standard solutions where feasible.
• Mentor junior consultants and manage project tasks.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methods.

We are seeking an SAP Transportation Management Solution Engineer for our First Quality Enterprises, LLC location, working remotely .

• Support system integration activities, including mapping and transformation of data between SAP TM and other enterprise systems.
• Own SAP TM system configuration, end-to-end transportation processes, and related procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP TM system issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Document SAP TM configurations, selection and planning profiles, batch jobs, and ensure documentation is up to date and well maintained.
• Ensure SAP TM environments across ECC and S/4HANA remain synchronized and consistent over time.
• Perform integrated quality assurance testing for transportation planning and management scenarios.
• Ensure test scripts are adequate and complete to cover all transportation scenarios for successful end-to-end testing before deployment to production.
• Lead an active role in low-level design, testing, and implementation phases of projects, collaborating closely with the business transportation team.
• Analyze transportation-related data and develop logical business application solutions in collaboration with IT and user teams.
• Review SAP TM system customizations and replace with standard solutions wherever feasible.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in supply chain, computer science, or a related field / minimum 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience within SAP TM field in a techno functional role.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Transportation Management (TM) modules.
• Proven track record of completing at least two full-cycle SAP TM end-to-end implementations.
• Deep understanding of transportation management processes, including Freight Order Management, Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Freight Execution, and Freight Settlement.
• Strong expertise in SAP TM configuration, with the ability to debug code, apply fixes, and implement enhancements.
• Solid knowledge of integration with other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Strong working knowledge of SAP TM Version 9.6 and familiarity with newer S/4HANA TM capabilities.
• Proficiency in OData services and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP).
• Strong architectural knowledge across multiple SAP modules and integration points.
• Familiarity with Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) and Application Interface Framework (AIF) is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and UI5 development for TM-related processes.
• Understanding of SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI for TM integration scenarios.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of TM processes and related custom developments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, including mentoring junior consultants and coordinating project tasks.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies, with experience in delivering projects under both frameworks.
