EY USA is seeking an SAP Transformation Intern in Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) for Summer 2027. You will assist with indirect tax processes, automation, and ERP configurations, applying AI-enabled tools and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or graduate degree in a related field or Accounting with a tech double major/minor.
GPA around 3.0 or higher.
Interest in indirect tax and its business impact.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Excel and willingness to learn tax technology tools.
Ability to work in a hybrid model with in-person collaboration 40–60%.

Responsibilities

Support indirect tax engagements focused on compliance, planning, and controversy.
Analyze business transactions for indirect tax implications.
Help improve processes via automation, data analytics, and system integration.
Prepare and review indirect tax returns and related documentation.
Collaborate with finance, IT, and legal to address tax issues.
Research tax laws across jurisdictions and analyze client data for exposures.
Assist in implementing indirect tax technology tools and ERP configurations.
Produce client deliverables including memos, reports, and presentations.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvements.
