Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Transportation Management expert to lead SAP TM deployment within the Transcend program in a GMP-regulated life sciences environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of Transportation Management experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, advanced therapy, or regulated life sciences environments.
• Hands‑on experience in GxP‑regulated environments.
• Understanding of GDP‑compliant transportation and distribution requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder leadership skills.
• Experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
• Functional knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM).
• Functional knowledge of SAP/SAP S/4HANA Logistics.
• Knowledge of transportation planning and execution.
• Knowledge of freight settlement.
• Knowledge of carrier management.
• Knowledge of transportation master data governance.
• Knowledge of XPS/4PL/Gateway Integration.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of SAP Transportation Management (TM) capabilities within the Transcend program.
• Lead and support harmonization of transportation processes across business units, regions, and SAP landscapes.
• Provide subject matter expertise in transportation master data governance.
• Support adoption of SAP TM for global transportation execution and planning.
• Assist with carrier onboarding, carrier setup, connectivity validation, and master data readiness.
• Support freight audit and settlement processes, including freight rate validation, integrations, invoice validation, issue resolution, and cost allocation.
• Participate in solution confirmation workshops by documenting requirements, reviewing designs, supporting Fit-to-Template assessments, and validating SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.
• Support SAP TM integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, XPS Transportation Platform, 4PL/Gateway Solutions, external carriers, freight audit platforms, and CDL/reporting solutions.
• Prepare and implement functional, business simulation, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain transportation test scripts, test scenarios, and process validation documentation.
• Support defect triage, root cause analysis, resolution validation, and retesting.
• Implement deployment readiness, transportation master data validation, and cutover support.
• Provide functional support during deployment and hypercare.
• Collaborate with Deployment Leads, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business SMEs, and Logistics Operations teams
