Job summary

Pentair is seeking an SAP Testing & Quality Assurance Lead to drive testing strategy across SAP ECC/S/4HANA landscapes from Golden Valley, MN. You will collaborate with ERP Support, Transformation Delivery, and partners to ensure high‑quality solutions reach production.

You will lead test planning, automation coordination (Tricentis Tosca, Azure DevOps), manage regression, data readiness, and go‑live activities, while coaching teams and measuring KPI progress toward lower defect leakage.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
8+ years of experience in enterprise application testing, including 5+ years supporting SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Ability to travel up to 20% with frequency varying based on business needs and project demands.
Demonstrated experience leading SIT, UAT, end‑to‑end integration testing, regression testing, defect governance, release readiness, and hyper‑care support for SAP landscapes.
Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management, defect tracking, reporting, dashboards, release governance, and quality metrics.
Experience with SAP testing tools and automation approaches, preferably Tricentis Tosca, but additionally Worksoft Certify, HP ALM/UFT, Selenium, or equivalent test management and automation platforms.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the SAP S/4HANA testing strategy across regression, integration, user acceptance, project, release, and implementation testing, establishing standards, governance, methodologies, KPIs, training, and continuous improvement practices.
Lead test planning, execution, defect management, and release readiness across SAP modules, SAP Fiori, interfaces, custom developments, integrations, test data, and test environment readiness.
Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage test plans, test cases, execution status, defect tracking, reporting, dashboards, metrics, and release quality governance.
Partner with the Test Automation Team to drive expansion of automated testing capabilities using Tricentis Tosca and related testing tools, improving regression coverage, execution efficiency, and overall quality outcomes.
Define and maintain end‑to‑end business process test coverage across OTC, PTP, RTR, EWM, PTM, Quality, GTS, and other integrated SAP business processes.
Collaborate with business process owners, SAP functional teams, developers, implementation/AMS partners, project managers, and infrastructure teams to ensure end‑to‑end testing alignment, risk visibility, go‑live readiness, hyper‑care support, and successful deployments.
Coach business testers, super users, and project teams on testing methodologies, defect management, test execution standards, and quality expectations.
Lead the adoption of testing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, establishing and tracking KPIs for test coverage, defect leakage, automation rates, release quality, and testing efficiency to demonstrate measurable business outcomes.
Govern testing deliverables and quality standards for AMS providers, implementation partners, and third‑party vendors supporting SAP initiatives.

You will be responsible for defining and governing testing strategy, standards, methodologies, and best practices while leading test planning, execution, automation coordination, regression testing, defect management, and go‑live readiness activities across projects, releases, enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives. Working closely with ERP Support, Transformation Delivery, Business Process Leads, project teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, the SAP Testing & Quality Assurance Lead ensures testing activities are consistently executed, business processes are thoroughly validated, risks are identified early, and high‑quality solutions are delivered to production.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: For this full‑time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $95500 - $177300 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
