Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a SAP-focused Supply Chain Systems Administrator in Findlay, OH to support day-to-day SAP and related systems used in the source-to-receipt process. You will partner with IT and business teams to resolve issues, analyze data, and implement improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience in Supply Chain or IT-related disciplines, with preferred SAP module experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, Accounting or related technical discipline highly preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of related experience required; experience in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business, Accounting or related technical discipline highly preferred.
• Experience with using SAP modules and systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day system administration support for Supply Chain systems, including troubleshooting issues.
• Conducts thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvements.
• Collects and analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams to design and propose effective and efficient solutions.
• Provides input and conducts testing for the development and implementation of new systems or process enhancements.
• Ensures business needs are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
• Ensures implemented solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Monitors industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Serves as business liaison for internal and external audits.
