Job summary

ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC in Dallas seeks an SAP EDI specialist to design, configure, and maintain EDI interfaces for 3PL partners, ensuring smooth data exchange for shipping, invoicing, and inventory.

You will configure IDocs, monitor SAP EDI flows, troubleshoot issues, and maintain mapping documents while adhering to ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards. Collaboration with 3PL providers and emphasis on data security.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing SAP EDI interfaces for 3PL partners.
• Experience with SAP IDocs and monitoring EDI message flows.
• Knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain SAP EDI interfaces for 3PL partners.
• Manage inbound and outbound EDI transactions (e.g., 940, 943, 945, 947, 846, 856, 810, 850, 204, 214, 888).
• Ensure compliance with ANSI X12, EDIFACT and other standards.
• Configure IDocs and monitor EDI flows in SAP.
• Collaborate with 3PL providers to implement and troubleshoot EDI connections.
• Monitor EDI queues and resolve failed transactions.
• Perform root-cause analysis for integration issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain mapping documents and integration specifications.
• Ensure data security and integrity per company standards.

• Design, configure, and maintain SAP EDI interfaces for 3PL partners.
• Manage inbound and outbound EDI transactions (e.g., 940,943, 945, 947, 846, 856, 810, 850, 204, 214, 888).
• Ensure compliance with ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and other EDI standards.

2. SAP Functional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules related to logistics and supply chain :
• Configure IDocs and monitor EDI message flows in SAP.

3. 3PL Integration

• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to implement and troubleshoot EDI connections.
• Ensure accurate and timely data exchange for shipping, inventory, and invoicing.

4. Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor EDI queues and resolve failed transactions.
• Perform root cause analysis for integration issues and implement corrective actions.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain mapping documents and integration specifications.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for data security and integrity.

Technical Skills

• Middleware experience: SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or other integration tools such as Biztalk.
• Basic ABAP debugging (optional but preferred).
