Job summary

The Hackett Group is seeking an SAP Security Lead to provide security support and consulting across multiple SAP implementations and support customers. You will lead security design, migration, and rollout, including Fiori catalog and UI5 components, while aligning with audit and GRC requirements.

You will mentor junior staff, manage executive relationships, and drive improvements in security processes and standards across projects.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of combined SAP experience.
• At least 3 full life cycle SAP projects as a technical, functional, or security lead.
• Expertise in SAP Security concepts including Fiori Launchpad Designer and catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, webdynpros, UI5 apps, PFCG role maintenance, OData services, ICF Services and Fiori Apps Library.
• Experience in supporting end to end SAP Security project implementation, security and GRC workshops, testing, Cutover prep and Hyper care activities.
• GRC consulting for Risk Analysis, Usage Monitoring, SOD, and Privilege Access
• Cross functional SAP knowledge preferably as an SAP functional/development consultant.
• Security experience in multiple SAP functional modules.

Responsibilities

GENERAL SUMMARY

The SAP Security Lead is responsible for providing SAP security support and consulting for multiple SAP implementation projects and multiple support service customers. The SAP Security Lead will provide consulting, management, business, and technical support in SAP security, GRC, and Audit support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Help build and enhance security roles with good understanding of SAP applications, security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls and different applications threats.
• Provide consulting and guidance on internal and external audit and compliance activities with good understanding of concepts of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and GRC type tools.
• Work on security support requests raised by multiple project implementation customers ranging from new security developments, changes, enhancements, troubleshooting, and support.
• Work with customer and company resources to develop security standards and to ensure the success of the security work required by multiple SAP implementation projects and support service customers.
• Provide security migration consulting for system migration projects. Lead a project through all phases of migrating a legacy security solution to a new system installation.
• Provide expertise in the areas of User ID maintenance, Security Role maintenance including the latest techniques for Fiori catalog and Space/Pages maintenance, and Security Role assignment.
• Work closely with all necessary parties involved to ensure success of the security practice including overseeing the quality of deliverables mentoring junior team members.
• Participate in any continuous improvement initiatives on top of existing workload to further improve current processes within the organization

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• At least 7 years of combined SAP experience
• At least 3 full life cycle SAP projects as a technical, functional, or security lead.
• Expertise in SAP Security concepts including Fiori Launchpad Designer and understanding of catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, webdynpros, UI5 apps, PFCG role maintenance, OData services, ICF Services and use of the Fiori Apps Library

• Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks to the team lead or end user to facilitate timely resolution.
• Previous Managed Services support experience is preferred as well as Project Management experience.
• Ability to multitask, handling multiple tickets with multiple customers and projects and prioritize appropriately
• Interpersonal skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation/ leadership skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work independently, guide clients, understand business processes and work cohesively with project team members.
• 100% commitment to hands-on SAP configuration work specifically security configuration
• Previous implementation experience with small and midsize enterprises (SMBs) is a preferred
• The ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
