Job summary

Pegasus Knowledge Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP SD / Pricing Functional Consultant to optimize ECC SD processes, pricing procedures, and OTC workflows in a hybrid environment in Chicago.

You will translate business requirements into effective SAP configurations while coordinating with IT, business units, and vendors. The role demands hands-on SD configuration, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead testing, deployments, and documentation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years SAP Order-to-Cash experience across multiple SAP projects.
• Strong hands-on SAP SD configuration experience, particularly in pricing procedures, condition techniques, order processing, output determination, and billing/invoicing.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC production environments, troubleshooting issues, and delivering business enhancements.
• Strong understanding of SAP SD integration points, relevant data structures, and cross-functional business processes.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional specifications, testing, deployment, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to analyze business data using SAP or third-party reporting/query tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD), with emphasis on pricing procedures and billing.
• Support end-to-end OTC processes, including sales order processing, delivery, invoicing, billing, and output determination.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead functional testing, integration testing, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Assess cross-functional impacts of changes and support integration with SAP FI/CO, MM, and other modules.
• Support business enhancements, system upgrades, migrations, and acquisition-related initiatives.
• Partner with ABAP developers and third-party vendors to deliver enhancements and resolve complex issues.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD / Pricing Functional Consultant to support and enhance SAP ECC solutions, with a strong focus on Sales and Distribution (SD), pricing configuration, order-to-cash (OTC) processes, billing, and customer service.

This role will serve as a subject matter expert and key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions. The consultant will lead configuration, production support, system enhancements, testing, documentation, and deployment activities while partnering with developers, business teams, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, support, and enhance SAP ECC Sales and Distribution (SD), with a strong emphasis on pricing procedures, condition types, access sequences, and pricing determination.
• Support end-to-end OTC processes, including sales order processing, delivery, invoicing, billing, and output determination.
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.

• Experience supporting SAP ECC production environments, troubleshooting issues, and delivering business enhancements.
