Job summary

The ProSource Group, Inc. is seeking an SAP SD Business Analyst in San Diego, CA to act as the subject matter expert on SAP Sales & Distribution and integration with FI/CO.

You will partner with developers and IT analysts to design solutions based on system specifications and business needs. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, solid SAP SD experience, and the ability to lead collaboration across teams while delivering scalable, integrated architectures and BI reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of SAP SD experience.
• Knowledge of SAP SD with integration points to FI/CO.
• BI reporting experience and data cubes knowledge.
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, EDI, Java Enterprise & Cloud architectures.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams.
• Experience with S/4 HANA.
• Ability to articulate change implications and maintain software standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify software solutions & architecture based on system specifications and business requirements.
• Define technology strategy, tool evaluation, and solution design for complex needs.
• Collaborate with developers/IT analysts to implement solutions and provide training.

As an SAP SD Business Analyst, you will work closely with developers and various functional IT Analysts to identify appropriate software solutions & architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification.High level job duties include, but are not limited to research, tool evaluation, documenting patterns and standards, defining technology strategy, technology evaluation and recommendation, solution design for complex business requirements and working with software developers/engineers through hands-on assistance as well as formal and informal training and technical development.In this role, you will rely on your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals as well asanticipate future business needs and design for appropriate extensibilityworking alongside our dynamic team.

Desire Education Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• 4 years of relevant SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) experience
• Solid understanding and knowledge of multiple platforms, like SAP, Salesforce, EDI, Java Enterprise & Cloud architectures
• Expert knowledge of SAP SD module with proficient understanding of integration points with FI, MM and PP
• Experience with BI reporting, queries & knowledge of data cubes
• Strong understanding and experience with integration and middleware technologies & frameworks
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex applications that solve business needs both effectively & efficiently
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels and with varying backgrounds in a team environment and foster/contribute to a collaborative, respectful environment on project teams& ability to function as a team lead
• Ability to articulate change implications for any process or system solution
• Excellent understanding of software development standards and processes
• Ability to develop new approaches for complex designs
• Experience with S/4 Hana
