Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Arlington, VA is seeking a Program Security Representative to provide multi-discipline security support for SAPs, SCI, and collateral data. You will perform day-to-day analysis and ensure adherence to NISPOM, DCID, ICD, and SAP policies.

Experience in SAP operations and security training is required; TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is needed to start. Travel of 10–25% is anticipated as part of this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience
• SAP experience desired
• SFPC counts towards 3 years of experience
• SPSC counts towards 5 years of experience
• SPED Certifications max 5 years
• Bachelor’s degree in a related area OR Associate’s degree + 2 years experience OR equivalent (4 years)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day security support for SAP, SCI and collateral data
• Develop and implement safeguarding policies for SAP/SCI
• Assess procedures to identify shortfalls and recommend improvements
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats and risks to test, training and operations
• Coordinate with SAP security personnel for curriculum updates
• Brief government and senior civilian staff on security topics
• Conduct SAP facility compliance reviews and follow-up
• Monitor corrective actions from reviews and report progress
• Notify program staff of pertinent security matters
• Investigate loss or suspected loss of classified information
• Assist in operations security program implementation and training
• Provide contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight
