Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant to support North American clients, focusing on proactive and reactive business opportunities, managed services, and transformation projects. The role involves collaboration with onsite sales and delivery teams, solution discussions, and workshops.

Role: SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

Job Level: Manager

Location: Austin, TX

Role Summary:

• Respond to production support tickets for FICO and GR modules within SLAs.
• Resolve and escalate complex SAP support requests.
• Analyze support issues and design solutions.
• Capture requirements, identify gaps, and design solutions.

Must Have Prior Experience:

• AR, AP, GL, AA, COPA modules
• New GL and Document split functionality
• Automatic Payments, DMEE, XML, iDocs
• Revenue Recognition, Tax, 3rd party taxation tools (Sabrix, Taxware, Vertex)
• Withholding Tax, Intercompany processes, Interfaces, Bank communication, Lockbox, Electronic Bank statements, SD, MM, PS modules, IDocs, GAAP reporting, Foreign currency valuation, Period end closing, Credit Card processes, Collection and Dispute Management, Multi-currency landscape

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years SAP FICO experience, including end-to-end projects
• 2+ years SAP S/4HANA FICO experience
• Hands-on experience in AR, AP, New GL, AA, COPA
• Project management experience, managing teams of 6+
• Experience managing onsite/offshore teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in technology space, Asset accounting, FSCM, BRS, FICA, BRF+, RAR
• Retail industry experience, complex IT landscapes, ABAP debugging, SDLC methodologies like ASAP, SAP FICO certification
