Cardinal Health seeks an SAP-focused Engineer to support Medical Core Systems within the Global Supply Chain Execution IT group. The role emphasizes SAP MM and PTP configurations, procurement processes, and cross-team collaboration, aligning IT deliverables with business needs.

The candidate should have 4–8 years in SAP, functional SAP knowledge, and strong communication skills, with a preference for MM modules and middleware experience. This is a full-time position based in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 4-8 years in SAP with functional processes preferred.
• Functional SAP knowledge preferred.
• SAP MM (Materials Management) module knowledge.
• SAP Procurement experience.
• SAP Connections/Interfaces, middleware knowledge.
• Experience creating configurations within MM and PTP modules.
• Understanding of creating configurations through related processes or projects.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop business process knowledge to apply to software functionality and documentation.
• Participates in business conversations to understand requirements and options.
• Plan and support SAP S4 procurement processes and procedures.
• Create configurations within SAP S4 MM and SAP PTP to support supply chain processes.
• Review T-codes and configurations as needed.
• Collaborate with other EIT teams for support activities.
• Communicate effectively with business partners and supporting teams.
