Job summary

Openkyber, LLC in New Jersey is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA data migration consultant for a long-term hybrid contract. You will lead end-to-end data migration, perform data mapping and ETL using SAP BODS, and support cutover activities with data reconciliation.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, governance, and successful go-live. Proficiency with LSMW/LTMC and MDG processes is required.

Qualifications

Job description

Position: SAP S4 Hana data migration Consultant

Location: new jersey Hybrid

Duration: Long Term Contract Only on W2

Key Responsibilities

• Experienced in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration lifecycle (plan, assess, extract, transform, load, validate, and reconcile).
• Drive data mapping and transformation (ETL) activities, with a focus on SAP BODS.
• Execute and support data loads using tools such as LSMW, LTMC (and related methods), including technical troubleshooting of load issues.
• Understanding in data assessment and profiling to evaluate readiness, completeness, and quality.
• Identify data cleansing and enrichment opportunities in collaboration with business and functional teams.
• Support defect management and resolution, ensuring timely triage, root-cause analysis, and closure.
• Work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (business, functional, technical, security/compliance) to meet project deliverables.
• Plan and execute cutover activities, including mock loads, checkpoints, and data reconciliation before/after go-live.
• Provide guidance on and alignment with SAP MDG processes, ensuring governance standards are considered during migration.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration processes.
• Proven experience in data mapping and ETL transformation, especially using SAP BODS.
• Experience with data loading tools/processes such as LSMW, LTMC, including technical issue resolution.
• Good understanding of SAP programs and tables, with the ability to debug when required.
• Strong knowledge of data assessment and profiling techniques.
• Ability to identify and drive data cleansing and enrichment initiatives.
• Solid understanding of defect resolution processes in project delivery.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and supporting compliance requirements.
• Experience executing cutover plans and performing data reconciliation.
• Good understanding of SAP MDG processes.
