Job summary

Calfus is seeking a Senior Architect to lead modernization of Finance using SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, Joule, and UiPath. You will set technical direction, design AI-powered Finance solutions, and guide delivery from strategy through execution.

Responsibilities include owning the AI strategy, building autonomous finance agents, and defining future-state capabilities with cross-functional teams. Strong cloud and DevOps experience required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in SAP architecture, enterprise architecture, AI engineering, or finance-tech leadership.
• Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, Joule, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes: P2P, R2R, O2C, Treasury, Close.
• Experience with UiPath platform components (Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center).
• Proficient in Python and agentic AI frameworks, RAG, vector databases, and multi-agent systems.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Architect to lead the modernization of Finance using SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business AI, Joule, UiPath, and AI agents. You'll set the technical direction, design AI-powered solutions for Finance teams, and guide implementation teams from strategy through delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Own the technical architecture and AI strategy for SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, Joule, and UiPath.
• Build AI assistants, copilots, and autonomous agents that automate Finance work – using tools like Joule, UiPath Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Design integrations across SAP, UiPath, Azure, Microsoft 365, and third-party platforms, following SAP Clean Core principles.
• Create reusable AI frameworks, reference architectures, and standards for AI engineering, security, and Responsible AI.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and implementation teams to define future-state capabilities and guide delivery.
• Run architecture workshops, design sessions, and executive reviews; evaluate new SAP, UiPath, and AI technologies for adoption.

On your firstday, we’llexpect you to have:

• 8+ years in SAP architecture, enterprise architecture, AI engineering, or finance technology leadership.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Business AI, Joule, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Solid knowledge of Finance processes: Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Treasury, and Financial Close.
• Experience with the UiPath platform (Studio, Orchestrator, AI Center, Agent Builder, Document Understanding).
• Strong Python skills and hands‑on experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen), RAG, vector databases, and multi‑agent systems, plus concepts like MCP, A2A, and LLMOps.
• Familiarity with cloud‑native architecture and DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core, RISE with SAP, and GROW with SAP.
• Clear communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to business audiences, lead architecture discussions, and influence decisions across Finance and IT.

Compensation:

Salary range: Between $140,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year. Pay is based on several factors including geographical locations but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
