Job summary

SMX is hiring a SAP S/4HANA Test Developer to design, develop, maintain, and execute test assets for a DoW SAP S/4HANA implementation within an Agile SAFe framework.

The role requires collaboration with government stakeholders, system integrators, SMEs, interface teams, and security personnel to validate designs, configurations, and release readiness, including UAT planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, business, engineering, accounting, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance, test development, or test execution on enterprise systems.
• 2–3 years SAP testing experience, preferably supporting an SAP S/4HANA implementation or upgrade.
• Experience across functional, system/integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows into test scenarios, test cases, scripts, procedures, and test data.
• Maintain traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Executing tests; Documenting results and defects; participating in defect triage.
• Analyzing failed tests; Developing corrective actions.
• Performing retesting and regression testing.
