Job summary

Slate is seeking an experienced SAP leader to drive the Warsaw, IN plant's S/4HANA finance and controlling transformation and ongoing production support. This on-site role reports to Production Control and collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into a scalable SAP solution.

You will own UAT, data migration, interfaces, and post go-live support, with a focus on governance, rigorous testing, and training for finance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO implementation experience.
• Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience configuring SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules.
• Experience integrating FICO with MM, PTP, OTC, and Manufacturing/Production Planning modules.
• Proven experience with data migration and cutover planning for legacy-to-SAP conversions.
• Working knowledge of EDI/IDOC/ALE/RFC integration methods.
• Strong techno-functional concepts (ABAP debugging, BAPIs, user exits, BADIs) for collaboration with developers.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to lead workshops and train stakeholders.
• Experience planning and leading UAT cycles with business and plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation for the Warsaw plant.
• Coordinate design, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Design and configure core Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO with MM, PTP, OTC, PTM, LEX, and IM streams.
• Conduct workshops and fit-gap analysis; prepare blueprint and functional specs.
• Manage data migration and cutover using LSMW, IDOC, and Winshuttle.
• Design and support EDI/IDOC/ALE/RFC interfaces with MES, PLM, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers on reports, BAPIs, user exits, BADIs, and WRICEF objects.
• Develop and execute test scenarios; coordinate unit and integration testing; obtain sign-off.
• Create end-user training materials and lead training sessions for Production Control and finance teams.
• Serve as on-site escalation for SAP production support; monitor configuration and interfaces.
• Support period-end close, data validation, and audit requests for Warsaw plant.
• Partner to implement change requests and minor configuration updates post go-live.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise roadmap and governance standards.
