Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Montvale, NJ seeks an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Architect and Integration Lead. You will drive architecture decisions for cloud-based deployments, lead Fit to Standard workshops, and guide the design of integrations across S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP BTP, and partner systems.

The candidate will coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams, ensuring clean core compliance and scalable extension strategies in line with Public Cloud concepts.

Qualifications

• Strong hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
• Deep understanding of Public Cloud scope items, configuration limitations, and extensibility model.
• Proven experience conducting Fit to Standard workshops, scope validation, and gap assessments in Public Cloud environments.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and SAP Best Practices Explorer.

Responsibilities

• Act as overall solution and integration architect for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
• Lead Fit to Standard workshops, scope alignment, and solution design decisions.
• Define and govern SAP BTP architecture for integrations, extensions, and workflows.
• Ensure all customizations follow Public Cloud extensibility guidelines and clean core compliance.
• Design and oversee end to end integration architecture between S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP BTP, and non SAP systems.
• Provide architectural guidance to functional and technical teams during build and deploy phases.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on SAP roadmap, Public Cloud innovations, and BTP capabilities.
• Strong client facing consulting skills with the ability to communicate architecture decisions clearly.
• Experience working in professional services / consulting environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide functional and technical teams.
• Strong analytical , problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive alignment between business and technology.

SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)

• Strong architectural and hands on experience with SAP BTP, including:
• SAP Integration Suite (CPI) – cloud to cloud and cloud to on prem integrations
• API led and event driven architectures
• Side by side extensions following clean core principles
• SAP Build / SAP Workflow Management
• BTP ABAP Environment & SAP Business Application Studio (BAS)
• Ability to define extension strategy (in app vs side by side) aligned with Public Cloud constraints.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector, identity, role collections, and basic security concepts on BTP.
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API lifecycle management.

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification
• SAP BTP / Integration Suite certification

Salary Range: $94,000 - $150,000 a year
