Job summary

Nagarro is looking for an ABAP Developer to implement customer-specific solutions and provide support across various S/4HANA projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ABAP, including Cloud and OO, and be able to develop applications for both front and back end. Proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2) is required. Job Description

• As an ABAP Developer, customer‑specific requirements are implemented within projects as well as in support.
• Development of applications in the front end and/or back end.
• Independent and team‑oriented work on customer solutions, both on‑site and remotely.
• Close collaboration with an international team of developers.
• Implementation, enhancement, migration, and documentation of ABAP applications and forms, particularly using Adobe Forms and Smart Forms.
• End‑to‑end support of S/4HANA projects across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including conception, implementation, testing, support, and post‑go‑live activities.
• Involvement in various types of S/4HANA projects, such as greenfield, brownfield, and rollouts.
• Responsibility for 2nd and 3rd level support within development services for existing customers.
• Provision of technical consulting on development‑related SAP topics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using ABAP, ABAP OO, and ABAP Cloud.
• Strong background in S/4HANA projects as well as ABAP on HANA.
• Hands‑on experience in API development.
• Initial exposure to RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Extensive experience in form development, particularly with Adobe Forms and Smart Forms.
• Familiarity with S/4 Output Management and BRF+.
• Strong language skills in German (C1 or higher) and English (B2 or higher).
