Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced SAP Financials Consultant to provide ongoing support, configuration, testing, and integration across R2R, Group Reporting, ICMR, AP, AR, and GL modules. You will translate business requirements into SAP enhancements and ensure best practices are followed.

The role requires thorough knowledge of SAP financial modules, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP R2R, Group Reporting, ICMR, AP, AR, and GL modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP enhancements or customizations.
• Configure, test, and document SAP changes aligned with business processes and best practices.
• Integrate SAP modules with MM, SD, and external systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP financial modules-related issues with minimal disruption.
• Conduct user training and provide support to ensure effective SAP usage.
• Stay up-to-date with SAP updates and best practices; propose process improvements.
• Participate in SAP implementation and enhancement projects from requirements to post-implementation support.
• Adhere to timelines, budgets, and quality standards; contribute to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP R2R, Group Reporting, ICMR, AP, AR, and GL modules, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their financial reporting requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP enhancements or customizations.
• Perform configuration, testing, and documentation of SAP financial modules changes, ensuring alignment with business processes and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP financial modules with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and external systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP financial modules-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to financial operations.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide user support to ensure effective utilization of SAP financial modules functionalities.
• Stay up to date with SAP financial modules updates, releases, and best practices, and proactively recommend process improvements or system optimizations.
• Participate in SAP implementation and enhancement projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and post-implementation support.
• Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of services.
• Contribute to SAP knowledge sharing initiatives, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP financial modules implementation and support, with expertise in R2R, Group Reporting, ICMR, AP, AR, and GL modules.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, processes, and best practices.
• Proficiency in SAP financial modules configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Central Finance is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex financial issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• SAP certification in financial modules is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
