Job summary

Accenture seeks an SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant to design, configure, and optimize end-to-end project management processes within SAP. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and compliance teams to align planning, budgeting, and reporting with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include configuring PS components, integrating with FI/CO, FM, MM, SD, and HCM, maintaining project structures, and creating specifications for enhancements. Travel up to 25% expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on SAP PS or related modules (FI/CO, FM, MM, SD)
• Strong understanding of project management, budgeting, cost control, and compliance
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP functional designs

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements related to project planning, budgeting, cost management, resource allocation, and compliance
• Configure and support SAP PS components and integrations with FI/CO, FM, MM, SD, and HCM
• Implement end‑to‑end project solutions that ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory adherence
• Design and maintain project structures (WBS, networks, activities), approval workflows, settlement rules, and cost controls
• Create functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, forms, and reports
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational standards, audit requirements, and funding or grant regulations
• Provide user training and develop documentation tailored for project managers, finance teams, and operational stakeholders
• Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and lead change‑management activities
• Stay current on SAP innovations related to Project Systems and adjacent modules
